EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2: Release, Contents and Pre-order
Summary: EB-05 "ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2" is the second Extra Booster centred on the series' heroines. On its Japanese product page, Bandai gives only "October 2026" as the release window — no specific day. A Japanese booster box contains 24 packs with 6 cards each. HOLYGRADE is currently the only Swiss shop offering the Japanese original edition for pre-order.
About the sources: Dates that do not come from the manufacturer often circulate for pre-orders. We therefore identify each detail in this article as either coming from Bandai officially or from retailers and specialist websites. As of 26 August 2026.
When will EB-05 be released?
Accuracy matters here, because two dates are circulating online:
- Bandai's Japanese product page gives only "2026年10月" — October 2026, with no specific day.
- Bandai's English Next Plan announcement gives 30 October 2026 — although it does not specify which region this date applies to.
- Japanese specialist and retailer websites give 31 October 2026 (Saturday) for the Japanese edition. These are not Bandai sources.
To be clear: there is no officially confirmed specific release date for the Japanese edition. On its Japanese product page, Bandai has published only the month. We are therefore working on the basis of shipping at the end of October 2026 and will not present any date as confirmed when Bandai has not confirmed it. Should the release date change, we will inform all pre-order customers.
What kind of set is EB-05?
Bandai describes EB-05 as the "second Extra Booster starring the heroines". The cards feature characters from the anime "ONE PIECE HEROINES", and the illustrations are newly drawn — according to the official Japanese channel, by the anime's character designer.
Known from Bandai's teaser: Heroines SP cards featuring Nami and Nico Robin, along with seven newly designed Heroines Leaders, including Nami, Nefertari Vivi, Shirahoshi, Boa Hancock, Rebecca, Nico Robin and Jewelry Bonney. Nico Robin is the only completely new Leader card; the others are redesigned versions of existing cards.
What a Japanese booster box contains:
- 24 booster packs per box — according to distributors and specialist websites. Bandai's product page does not specify the number of packs per box.
- 6 cards per pack (official Bandai information)
- Japanese list price: 240 yen per pack, including tax (official Bandai information)
- A sealed case contains 12 boxes (retailer information, not published by Bandai)
What is not yet known: Bandai has not yet published the card list for EB-05 — as of today, the set is still missing from the official CARDLIST. There are therefore no official figures for card types, rarity distribution, parallel cards or pull rates. Anyone quoting such figures is passing on distributor or community estimates. We will add them as soon as Bandai publishes the list.
What EB-03 tells us about EB-05
The best reference point is its predecessor. EB-03 "Heroines Edition" was released in October 2025 with the same configuration: 24 packs, 6 cards and, at the time, a price of 220 yen per pack.
How things have developed — figures from retailer and community analyses, not from Bandai:
- The Uta Comic Parallel reached over 1,000 US dollars shortly after launch and was still around 680 dollars in March 2026.
- Boa Hancock SP at around 450 dollars, Nami SP at around 420 dollars.
- EB-03 had a "God Pack": a single pack containing six of the nine SP cards. Estimated frequency: around one box in 180.
- The booster box itself was recently trading at around 23,600 yen — several times the list price of 5,280 yen, with stock sold out.
So, eight months after launch, EB-03 is still trading steadily. That is not something you can take for granted with Extra Boosters, and it is why the Heroines line is in demand.
Important: Bandai has neither confirmed nor ruled out whether EB-05 will also contain a God Pack. Inferring this from EB-03 is an expectation, not a fact.
Pre-ordering the Japanese version — what to look out for
1. Japanese and English are not the same product. The Japanese edition has 6 cards per pack, while the western edition has 12. Pay attention to this when comparing products — several Swiss shops list the English version under "EB-05".
2. Japanese cards are not tournament-legal in Europe. In Europe, Bandai only allows English and French cards for Leaders and the main deck. DON!! cards are the exception and are allowed in any language. Japanese products are intended for collecting and opening here.
3. Extra Boosters are scarcer than main sets. Bandai produces Extra Boosters in smaller quantities than the main OP series. That is why EB-03 is trading above its list price — and why pre-ordering makes more sense for this line than for a main set.
Frequently asked questions
How many cards are in a Japanese EB-05 pack?
Six. The English edition has twelve.
How many packs are in a booster box?
24. A sealed case contains 12 booster boxes.
Which cards are included?
Bandai has not yet published the card list. The teaser confirms Heroines SP cards featuring Nami and Nico Robin, as well as seven Heroines Leaders.
Is EB-05 the same as EB-03?
No. EB-03 is Heroines Edition vol.1 from October 2025, while EB-05 is vol.2. EB-04 in between is "Egghead Crisis" and is not part of the Heroines line.
Can I play EB-05 in a Swiss tournament?
Not the Japanese version. In Europe, only English and French cards are allowed, except for DON!! cards.
